WHAT IS A CONSULTANT PROJECT MANAGER?

The role of a project manager is critical for delivering a successful project. The APM defines a project manager as someone who “is responsible for day-to-day management of the project and must be competent in managing the six aspects of a project, i.e., scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources.”

A project management consultant provides temporary help to clients through expert project management advice. Project consultants often work in a range of industries throughout their career. This experience helps project managers provide a unique insight to the clients’ organisation they are assisting.
