A BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION PROJECT FOR A HEALTHCARE PROVIDER

THE CHALLENGE

The healthcare sector’s key aim is to provide excellent care for its patients. For this healthcare provider, inefficient and unreliable administration processes were hindering its ability to support this aim. It was essential for them to have a complete, streamlined administration procedure to enable departments and individuals to work together and collaborate successfully to achieve this objective.

THE SOLUTION

Our PMO team came into this business transformation project to help with the planning and tracking process. All the different ways the administration process could be streamlined and made more efficient were considered, enabling us to then create the necessary plans and put the right systems in place to solve the problem. This also allowed for the project’s progress to be tracked, so that key stakeholders could monitor the milestones.

THE OUTCOME
  • Automating certain procedures in order to lower instances of human error, making financial savings and reducing instances of patient dissatisfaction.
  • Improving communication between the provider and patient creating not only a more positive experience for the patient but also a more productive system in which staff can work.
