PL Projects are delighted to announce that we have joined ACOSTE as a company member.
The Association of Cost Engineers (ACOSTE) serves as an authoritative hub for professional practitioners who contribute to the prediction, planning and control of resources and costs for activities. ACOSTE covers disciplines such as cost engineering, project controls, planning, scheduling and estimating and are committed to providing professional development pathways to its members, students and apprentices. These disciplines resonated with PL Projects’ own specialist support services and are confident that the company membership will be mutually beneficial. PL Projects will share and align their knowledge and expertise with ACOSTE to support not only their internal staff, but also the wider membership of ACOSTE.
ACOSTE skills and control team are also an awarding body, experts in their field of skills and control and develop, design and certify qualifications with learning providers. PL Projects’ training team will look to enhance project controls within their current course material and apply to be recognised as a quality learning provider with ACOSTE. They will also offer educational and design services to ACOSTE for any future educational and professional courses they may be developing.
The use of Community of Practice (CoPs) within ACOSTE provide forums for sharing best practice, working together with industry experts, and help to build capacity for the industry in the future. As a company member, we will be looking to actively contribute to shaping the future of excellence in project controls through our engagement.
