Current responsibilities: I am currently supporting the acquisition of a major civils contractor and the set-up of a new company in order to facilitate the inclusion of the projects within the group organisation. This has involved the novation of 13 major contracts including PFIs with multiple sites and the relocation of both the head office and the contact centre. This also included the TUPE of over one thousand staff.

My role for the 3 months to completion was to provide planning and PMO support to build and define the activities required to provide sufficient evidence to the cut over decision and to achieve a smooth transition into the integration phase.

Personality and experience: The founder of PL Projects. A senior project professional with over 30 years of experience on multi-million-pound projects across various industries. 

Interests outside of work: I love travel, especially with my two kids who are fast growing up, cycling and every now and again a touch of sketching.

Best thing about PLP: In many consultancies, working remotely and on client sites means that sometimes individually you can feel a sense of isolation. The size and way PLP operate means that we all know each other and the family feeling that we are more than just colleagues who work together is one of the best things about working for PLP.
