Current responsibilities: My role in PLP involves providing Project Management training both for internal staff and for clients through our APM accredited training courses, as well as significant involvement in the L4 Associate Project Manager apprenticeships. In addition, I provide assistance to teams with any reporting challenges and wide-ranging software support.
Personality and experience: Spent several years in general construction and house-building before moving into Project Management education lecturing on undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Worked with the Professional Body (the Association for Project Management) assisting them with the development of their academic accreditation processes and am currently part of their accreditation team. On leaving teaching, I worked with the APM to ensure that PLP’s courses were accredited.
Interests outside of work: Literary festivals, crosswords, music and riding my bike to keep fit.
Best thing about PLP: Working with people that care.
