Current responsibilities: Luke is currently managing a team of PL Projects’ consultants at NHS Digital, working as part of the programme leadership team for the Test and Trace Programme.

Previous experience and personality: Luke has supported and managed different PL Projects’ teams in PMO environments at different client organisations for the past 8 years. He is very experienced in working on the whole lifecycle of large programmes of work.

Luke has an extremely calm demeanour, which helps in in our clients’ chaotic environments. He is a first-class communicator and a great team player. Luke works to high standards and appreciates the importance of holistic approach to all the demands of large project delivery.

Interests outside of work: Luke loves getting out into the countryside to go mountain biking, fishing or going on long hikes with his dog.

I worked with Luke at JD Sports PLC, where he was providing an excellent planning service for the Oracle RMS programme of work. This was a very complex, large piece of fluid work which required precise control which Luke provided in a professional, highly competent and collaborative way. High demands were made of him, but throughout Luke remained cheerful and in control.

Luke was a true asset in his time with us and quickly became an integral part of the team. I am sure he will be an asset wherever he works. On a tactical level, he provided excellent support in the procurement and development of a £250m railway project. However, it was his behavioural attributes that added the most value and he quickly became a part of the team due to his diligence, hard work and openness to new learning.
