Current responsibilities: My role as Director at PLP currently involves acting as Sponsor for the development and adoption of the Quality Management System and heading up the development of the new business offering in Uncertainty, Training and Consultancy. I am also a leading member of the working group on professional standards and development and am a part of the senior management team.

Personality and experience: 30 years in infrastructure projects working in roles ranging from chain lad to programme commercial director; with a special interest in collaborative working and the “next step” in industry relations evolution in the UK – Project 13. 

Interests outside of work: Being with family, cycling, chess, camping and travel.

Best thing about PLP: Every day is a school day for me. I am constantly surprised and delighted by the things our young people know that I don’t, as well as occasionally gobsmacked by some of the things they seem not to know!
