- APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ)
- Final Year of BA Geography and Business Management
Current responsibilities: I am currently supporting the Delivery Operations team on NHS Digital’s COVID-19 Test and Trace Programme. Having only just started working at PLP, I’m both excited and intrigued to employ a range of communication and organisational skills required on this project. Moreover, I look forward to developing a greater understanding of more advanced project management tools and methodologies.
Personality and experience: I currently study Geography and Business Management at the University of Leeds. Although this may initially seem irrelevant to a project management role, my course has allowed me to develop a plethora of transferable skills relevant to the profession, including planning, competence with online software and written and verbal communication. I also have 4 years’ experience in retail, which has helped me to become a friendly and professional communicator. I look forward to developing these skills further, as well as nurturing my interest in the project management profession during my time with PLP!
Interests outside of work: I’m a huge music fan, enjoying anything from playing the guitar to attending rap and indie concerts! I also enjoy exercising, travelling and watching football, whilst more recently however I have found a new passion for cooking!
Best thing about working at PLP: Although I’ve only just started at PL Projects, even during the application process their welcoming and supportive nature was evident. Unlike anywhere else I have experienced, they have expressed a great interest in nurturing my professional development right from the beginning, whether that be through training or simply through their wide-ranging advice and words of encouragement.
