Last month saw our project consultants Emma Huckerby & Megan Jones nominated for the APM Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire Student of the Year Award 2020! They both worked extremely hard during lockdown to complete their assignments & graduate from Leeds Beckett University, but they had one last presentation to complete this month!

The APM Virtual Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire Award Ceremony took place yesterday evening between 18:00 – 20:00. The ceremony involved each nominee presenting about their experiences and achievements during their placement year. During the ceremony we had the opportunity to hear the challenges that the finalists had faced and the solutions they provided during their project journeys.

We are extremely proud to announce that Emma went on to win the APM Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire Award – Student of the Year 2020! This is what Emma had to say about her latest accomplishment; “I have waited a long time to present my project to the APM committee as the ceremony was pushed back due to the pandemic. I was nervous about going first out of all the finalists, but at the same time I was glad to get it out of the way! I covered four topics / processes in my presentation, but my main focus was on communication and the importance of communication in bringing all the PM processes together. I am so happy that all my hard work has paid off and I am excited to be the winner of the APM Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire Award – Student of the Year 2020.”
