5 TIPS FOR NEW SOCIAL MEDIA USERS

You need to understand who your target market is.
- Knowing your target market is extremely important.
- This helps you create and shape your social media posts that your target audience will want to read.
Once you post, don’t forget to engage!
- This is easy to forget, but remember to comment on questions your audience post underneath your social media platforms.
- Give a “like” to comments you support to show you are engaging with your audience.
Consistency is king.
- Post as often as your can, with consistent designs, colours, fonts and call-to-actions (CTAs).
Add more videos to your social media strategy.
- Video is a great way to engage with your target audience and it is great to use alongside pictures.
Always ask yourself “will my audience find this valuable?”
- This is a very important question to ask yourself whenever you post on social media.
- If your content is not valuable to your target audience could disengage with you.
