Andrew is a highly experienced Project and Programme Management professional with an enviable track record in the successful delivery of large, complex business change programmes in both the public and private sectors, most notably as the ‘On Street’ Release Manager of the hugely successful Barclays Cycle Hire Scheme.

Andrew’s main areas of expertise – whether leading a team, within a team or working individually has been leading (and recovering) large programmes and projects as well setting up Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices and improving the operational capability of existing, underperforming offices.

A strong senior manager, leader and team player but also one who is highly self-sufficient with strong organisational capabilities, Andrew is an excellent communicator and able to support and motivate people at all levels with effective people management skills.

Andrew is a PRINCE2, MSP and MoR practitioner as well as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a member of the Institute of Financial Services.



Andrew has more than 25 years’ experience in the Financial Services Sector. He has held a number of senior management positions in risk management and transformational change, having led large business transformation and regulatory change programmes at Barclays Bank and the Financial Services Authority.

He has also led a variety of consultancy assignments for both public and private sector clients where he has specialised in leading and recovering large programmes and projects as well as setting up Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices and improving the operational capability of existing, underperforming offices.



Andrew was the programme manager of a company-wide process change programme I was sponsoring. The challenges he faced, particularly around the established culture and diverse stakeholder needs were considerable.

However, he displayed all the necessary qualities and expertise to deal with them and remained focused on taking the programme through identification and definition, whilst also delivering a new process framework which was one of the key projects.
